Obituary of Rosetta A. Paternoster

Rosetta A. Ozzi Paternoster, age 77, of Bridgeport, beloved wife, mother and grandmother went to be with the lord on Saturday, September 18, 2004. Born in Bridgeport on June 13, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Alice DePaola Ozzi. A lifelong city resident she was a retired cashier for Finast Supermarket. Mrs. Paternoster will always be remembered for her love and devotion to her family and her trips to the casino.

Survivors include her devoted husband of 54 years, Ralph Paternoster, five loving children, John Paternoster and his wife Linda of Naugatuck, Virginia Re and her husband Matt of Shelton, Julie Nicolett and her husband Mark of Monroe, Ralph Paternoster Jr. of Bridgeport, Nancy Lipari and her husband Luciano of Bridgeport, a brother Arthur Ozzi Jr. and his wife Lori of Huntington, three sisters, Clair Frillici and her husband Fred of Fairfield, Lucy Quinto and her husband Sam of Monroe, Gloria DeVietro and her husband Mike of Newtown, eight cherished grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Andrew Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
