Helen (Hogle) Adinolfi, R.N., age 90.5, of Fairfield passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony J. Adinolfi. Born in Fairfield on January 16, 1927, she was the only daughter of the late James and Doris Pardy Hogle. A graduate of Central High School in 1945, she then attended Norwalk General Hospital School of Nursing where she obtained her R.N. Degree. In 1945, she was also proud to have served in the United States Cadet Nurse Corps. Helen was later employed by Norwalk Hospital where she worked as a registered nurse in the Labor and Delivery Dept. before her retirement with many years of dedicated service. In 1949 she married and began raising her family.
She is survived by her loving children, Tony Adinolfi and his husband Tony Habit, Jacqui Adinolfi, David Adinolfi and his wife Clara, Jim Adinolfi and his wife Jo, Tom Adinolfi and his wife Karen Cerreta and Susan Stonoha and her husband Joe, her eleven cherished grandchildren, Matthew, Antonia and Michael Mancino, Victoria, Andrew, Jim, Jason, JT and Maddie Adinolfi and Christina and Alyssa Stonoha, six great grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews and loving caregivers. In addition to her beloved husband Anthony, she was also predeceased by her brothers, Bill, Howard and Bob Hogle.
Friends may greet the family on Sunday, October 8, 2017 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Rd., Fairfield. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
