Leslie J. Gudgel Jancar, age 64, of Monroe, beloved wife of Richard Jancar, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2017 at her home with her family by her side. Born on July 2, 1953 in Del Rio, Texas, she was a daughter of the late LeRoy Morgan Gudgel and Marjean Lucille Morin Gudgel. Leslie enjoyed arts & crafts, photography and tending to her garden. She was a loving and dedicated wife and mother. The unconditional love she provided will always continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be truly missed.
In addition to her beloved husband, Richard of 43 years, survivors include her loving son, Erik Jancar and his fiancé Melissa Vitrella of Newtown, a sister, Sydney McKain of Pennsylvania; her mother-in-law, Emily Jancar and a sister-in-law, Terry Jancar both of Fairfield, as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.
A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 12 p.m. directly St. John's Cemetery, Monroe. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 5 – 7 pm at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
